Luck artifacts

It was old news.. one for turns.. one for time.. then again thanks for the refreshment apollo..

I did NOT know that Afortunados were governed by time while suartes were governed by turns. If I knew that, I would have used afortunados exclusively a long time ago and gotten far better results in my digging.

I`m using about 5 turns on average. I`ll do my first tests on that, then I`ll tackle the turns per dig debate...

the results i get are from using 9 turns per click during rare uncommon and mixed dig

Maj Affortunado`s are worth the invest, imho :)

Alright then, here`s what I`m going to try. I`ll collect a weeks worth of data on digging without any additional assistance/modifiers (other than paid), then I`ll fuse 14 majors and go another 7 days of digging (I use about 5 turns per dig). I`ll crunch the numbers and let you know what I find.

its likely to pay for itself if it does last for 30min and you use it during rare or uncommon, but like i said, im not 100% on if uc and gc luck works the same

Ahh, I see. I think I`ll try that then. Have you tried fusing afortunados and running the numbers? It`s 2 gents for the major, I wonder if it`s worth it...

With no luck artis? I average less, maybe 13 consistently (combo of gentes and bases), with some spikes into the low 20`s (maybe 3 times).

but i makes 18-27 gordos a when i hit mixed, rare, and uncommon dig times, thats a combination of gentes and bases i dig

So, just for comparison sake, how many bases do you normally get during uncommon dig time using Afortunados?

This was pulled from a UC fan site, and Im not 100% sure that Luck works the same way on GC as it does UC. However, Ive be using these guidelines recently and been doing quit well during Rare and Uncommon times.

Things you need to know about luck:

You CANNOT use luck artifacts on other empires. You know how it says "The artifact makes a deep humming sound and disappears with a dark brownish glow."? It *sounds* cool, but after checking the recipient`s events, nothing shows up, and if it doesn`t show up in events, it didn`t happen. Period.
-Suertes do not stack on Suertes, and Afortunados do not stack on Afortunados. This means that if you use lots and lots of minor and major suertes on you, it`ll only take the effect of the last one that you just used.
-Suertes CAN stack on Afortunados, and vice versa. This means that If you use a Suerte on you and an Afortunado, you will get double the luck as opposed to just using one or the other.
-An Afortunado and a Suerte will yield the same results if they are used separately. Basically, a person that uses an Afortunado will get the same results as someone who uses a Suerte, as long as the time does not expire.
- Afortunados are governed by time, Suertes are governed by Turns. Afortunados last a certain amount of time (Minor ~10 minutes, Major ~30 minutes), whereas Suertes last a certain amount of turns (Minor ~20 turns, Major ~ 100 turns). The exact amounts are not certain, but this means that it may be impractical to use suertes when you are digging, but a good choice when you are using Regalos.
