Congratz EMPIRE on your well deserved UW, and congratz UFP for helping to make it happen!! EMPIRE is the last original UFPer in the fed, and deserves this conclusive end to his 9 year stint as a terran.

Now listen to the song and PARTYYYYYY!!! Cuz, at least for now, UFP is NUMBER ONE baby. No room for negativity and bickering in THIS thread. Yeah!!! :D

lol yours were explo anfit. I think you know how I feel about those :P

So if you split fuzzy + my UWs from the UW counter for common wealth, we have 5 UWs, and LCA in 2nd place with 4. But if you count the ones fuzzy and I did with common wealth, then common wealth would have at least 6. UFP at 2 atm.
My evidence:
Fuzzy had 4 UWs
I had 1
DM had 1
Lord had 1
Rag had 1
EMPIRE had 1

Also, this is getting technical but the reason why I UWed first was because I was the first to have UW plans. We contacted DM sort of last minute as a generous offer for him to join our chain, basically because we liked DM and wanted to repay him for helping us out on the other servers.

That is the true story. And a great story at that

regardless, i was just saying that we all work together and just responding to your point rag, that DM masterminded all the chain UWs.

This was just not entirely true on normal.

Also, I hate to throw this out again, but once again, we can see the wonder `teamplayer` that is known as DM.

GW has a point. Whoever does the first UW contributes to the success of followup UWs. You don`t really get as much props for doing the 2nd or 3rd UW in a string of UWs because of it.

But that doesn`t necessarily mean that DM or Fuzzy couldn`t have done the UW first either.

You chained after us. We worked together as a team, but yes in the grand scheme of things we really did give you that one. Just think about it...you weren`t even going to play normal after you plundered into NP but we convinced you to come back :)

Try not to let your emotions ruin the good times we had back then DM.

Or how much DM wants to do a UW of his own, but then there are only 3-4 factions that make any difference on the server. SI/Beast, UFP, MOB, TCF. At least two, if not 3 of these factions have to act for a UW to be brought down or prevented. No one outside of these factions will likely make any difference.

Grat, I am just going to laugh at your comments. You gave ME UW? I was leader of a 1500+ planet fed back then with a lot of active members and huge arti stash, including Deiloche who had huge guard back then.

You and fuzzy were in a newbie fed where nobody else could have helped you.

i didn`t oppose the UW, I was in VM. Only opposition was the mob. So yes, it does say a lot about how bad the mob is at fighting UWs.

I hope you realize that it was fuzzy and I that gave DM his UW on normal server. He would have never been able to UW (on normal) if it weren`t for us, lol.

"Worst successful UW fleet in the history of normal server"? What does that say about the people who opposed it? o_0

Anyways, if you didn`t notice, this link is the same link I used on the short description of UFP for a while now (the "UFP theme song"). This UW only highlights UFP`s general success as a fed compared to 2 years ago, when the MOB practically conquered the server.

Esp on Feb/Mar 2010 when you, fuzzy and DM did that triple UW, and then Lord`s/Fuzzy`s double UW in Sep/Oct 2010, and then fuzzy`s surprise UW (again) 7 months later. Keep in mind all this happened after my UW and the disbandment of the UTU group.

And while fuzzy`s last UW was successful, the fact that it was BTC expensive proved that the MOB had some real competition on its hands and had to expend significant artifact resources if it wanted to UW. Additionally, UFP prevented wingnut`s UW, which would have been the first in the UW lineup. As such, it was a significant moral victory for UFP.

Of course, this UW was only possible because of a series of events and opportunities that UFP exploited to its fullest. Plus, we have members of the TCF who respected EMPIRE enough to support his UW aspirations, and who are united with UFP in our resolve to not allow Normal server to become the wasteland it was in 2010 (just like all the other TB servers).

However, this UW is merely an indicator that we have succeeded in preventing the complete takeover of Normal Server by DM, who is famous for his ability to organize chain UWs. We have also, and finally, restored UFP`s proud legacy as the top federation of Normal server, after a ridiculously long hibernation period. 6 or 7 years I think it is. Still, UFP isn`t nearly as powerful as it was in the days of Paladin, but we`re getting there.

The trend is definitely up. :)

Why are you guys celebrating so hard after what can probably be considered the worst successful UW fleet in history of normal server in recent times (last 4-5 years)?

Don`t get me wrong, I`m not trying to put you down or anything. It`s just bewildering for me to see this behavior from a non UFPer point of view :P But maybe it makes sense that you are celebrating precisely because EMPIRE`s UW was perfect in other aspects...timing, diplomacy and I guess in a way seniority?

Lol anyways, grats again EMPIRE and good work UFP.
