Attack BUG that isn`t ....

SO i was out building a fleet to do a bit of attacking when i was Countered rather nicely i might add and i lost my three planets
Then lo and behold I was attacked again and lost another 3 planets
Apparently sometimes when you build and are then hit you can continue building without knowing you have been hit or to put it another way... the game won`t stop you from building AS IT IS SUPPOSED TOO I lost 6 planets because the game failed to warn me , it failed to put up that attack tab you hafta click after you have been attacked so you dont build after you have been attacked.
The part that bothers me is nobody can do anything about it , just part of the game they say, well it SHOULDN"T be part of the game it can really mess you up. I`ve been getting planets and borders for the last few weeks this just buggers me and i dont have the energy to keep it going I have no borders left so im gonna plunder down to my ularges and my couple of good C1`s
I imagine that if i was a new empire I`d probally just quit the game , its things like this that keep/drive people away.

i`ll put it simply..

I can only compensate for what i can prove within the system. now this sort of thing cannot be proven by Stephens.. shall we say lacking system.. so it means i can`t compensate people.. if i did compensate people for this on there word alone we`d have a problem of everyone being able to abuse this if they wanted

I only act in the interest of fairness.

i asked this was the response I got

"What happened there isn`t exactly a bug it`s mostly just a timing issue (Else popup blocker but either way..) this is something that happens now and then.. Generally it`s just you get hit as your building which can means you built as you were hit or popup blocker blocked it somehow causing it to think it`s accepted to build

luz i had this happen to me years ago and back then they did the same as now nothing its not really a bug its a timing issue if you get attacked at the exact same time as you build ships it happens

Back when it was first being addressed, it was standard to hand out some PCC, maybe you can ask for 3 to replace the borders you lost. After I lost a C3 to the bug, Stephen gave me a bunch of them.

ya it should be fixed its ridiculous that , nothing is done
And for the record I dont blame the admins or guides they were as helpful as they could be

it`s a race condition. You probably remember the original fix (attack has been detected!), but I bet a race condition still exists, so that if you have pending build and pending attack, the attack can start, the build can start before the attack finishes and the flag is set, the attack finishes and you get momentary DP, then the build finishes and you no longer have DP.

It does stink...blame a missing critical section.
