Going to explain why viewing hidden ships happens to be a loophole within the system (Your actually not supposed to be meant to do this but you can because of coding flaws in the system which can`t be fixed by us.)

When you go here: Ships

You see race selections going from Terran => D.Maru Which is the list of view-able ships these id`s go from 1 => 8

Now the section hidden ships are in (No longer plan upon using hidden ship stats as there not hidden anyway soo who cares.)

Here: Ships

This section is known as the "Unknown Race Ships"

This section is not open to view the only way to access it is by playing with the id`s setting it to 9.

Now another way people are doing this is via two different ways

I`m only going to show one here: Strafez -E- This is the strafez fighter you have the ship id on the end you can go through all the ships by changing this id (Which tbh is common knowledge at this point so i don`t really care anymore)

Now doing this is also a loophole within the system as your not meant to be able to view all the ships only the ones in the publicly released sections (Terran => D.Maru)

and blah blah blah you all get the idea yada yada yada...

End result is kudos to those of you who worked it out but.. end result your just limiting my abilities for events as the most fresh/interesting things i can put out are things where you all don`t know everything..

Couldn`t it be possible just to put false information on those ship pages in the event someone does this again for any other surprise ships in any future Events if they happen, or does it have to be exact info for the ship to work?

I would just have like 10 different premade ship lists scripts and load them in every few hours, since you cant automatically do it anyhow.

I agree with omegian.... ships that change stats automatically every few hours would probably be really fun and fix this problem to a degree... basically, have 2 ships with all of the stats the same... except the shields. Have them named invader and invader (with a space after it so its difficult to tell which is which), and after every few attacks, the ships would switch.



Or, heres another idea, if the first won`t work. have a protection mission.... 1 Npc slowly works its way up the ranks, while 2 npcs with insane buildrates attempt to attack it over and over again. Put a time limit that allows for 1 or 2 hits to go through, and when either time is up or the 1st Npc reaches the Target pt, the event Is over. Then, look at the battle logs of the 2 aggressors, and give out rewards from there. The 2 aggressors would be able to change which ships they are building each time, throwing in a bit of randomness that can`t be overcome with exploits (at least, any that I know).

Hmm, how i miss those days of testing out ships for people (sarcasm)

I am glad someone else does that, then there are those ships that are for an UW hehe, if i wanted to be truly evil is have a timewarp effect where their stats change every 3-6 hours, but still they would know the stats, but it would change the game somewhat, only other way to do it is not put up the webpage unitil the last minute so they can`t find the link as quickly. But that is me being evil.

Oh that might be pushing it. You might have to be admitted to the holy order of GC ship designers first, entry of which involves submitting a ship based on the secret arts of ship designing.

It also involves the sacrifice of a puppy and the theft of cookies from the cookie monster.
