Better Reward for Completing M

Need mission reset lol.

Indeed, he`d be better off hiring someone to do it FOR him. I`m sure he could find people to do it for him for FREE right here in the game. Just for FUN. >_>

i can understand forgetting the code thing... the gc remake i`ve been working on has been on hiatus for a while since i`m so busy with school, i have forgotten a lot of stuff too haha

actually the best thing for stephen to do is completely rewrite gc :P

I`ve gone over this once before but that was awhile back so i`ll refresh everyone`s memory.

i had missions for all races ready... including missions to extend all existing races missions to act 3 and beyond (Which included a base rewrite of the missions to improve the requirements and change rewards for the new plan)

I had been going back and forth with stephen for several months roughly trying to get him to add in the ability to edit missions, OR EVEN do it himself. Response i got every time: "It`s hard coded and would require alot of work" and that`s the end of it everytime i goto him on it.. and ends without a single finger being lifted on his end..

Now from a few events that happened recently which im not going to tell you all i honestly feel it`d be best if Stephen Didn`t touch GC because he has forgotten too much of it`s code and how things interact with each other as a whole.

There are actually many things which could be quickly fixed if he both listened to me and knew what he was doing..

For example: collective c.5 issue is because planets is a tinyint (unsigned) simply changing it to smallint (unsigned) would fix this issue allowing c.5 to be reactivated and used..

do the admins even have the power to add missions if there were some written?

I would prefer to see Virals, Collective and Maru finally get missions in the first place. It was worked on a few years back but the person that was working on them most quit and didn`t share the text files with them all written up.

I think I have some collective ones saved on one of my old computers that we where working on but implimenting them is near impossible so there really is no point I guess.

Well I would like missions in general.

who needs infra on tb servers..lol ive done missions more then anymore has in the hall of fame that i know of. i think after doing missions you should just restart..go and do them again if your bored..not hard to do :P as for reward i think getting your name with people who do uws is reward enough. its so easy to do them...dont really deserve much more :) now for slow/normal its alil different...normal i could have done them if i bought a paid but..not worth it imo. i just wish you wouldnt have to be paid for missions (Act 2) :( the non-paid race atleast..

If u complete the mission before max.. it means the additional infra will be a reduction of researching.. but if u reach max and complete missions, the additional infra will be additional..

Go figure..

I believe doing a successful uw takes more planning rather than mission completed..

yes give all guards a mission reset! Thats a great idea, without any hint of OP-ness :P

Look at it from a TB perspective. There you are NOT at max infra when you complete missions (unless maybe on ultra or if you are Donster) so getting the cheap 10 levels there is maybe a 10-20% income increase which is a significant amount.

I would rather see missions for the other races than any more ill thought rewards to make big empires more OP.
