Scared it away. The newscasts laid the credit upon the sanctions imposed when it was announced for the duration of the crisis all visitor passes were pulled for the Flashy`s School for Wayward girls and Wicked Women. DM knew then the front was united and only destruction awaited.

I just hope that DC uses ships that we have no idea on the shield mods ala unknown ships. This way it won`t be a simple: spam up counter ships, have a sub 50k PR scout empire hit, tell stack over msn/skype/whatever then hit with the 100+ mill PR stack and rinse and repeat.

It`s dull and boring. Not knowing the shield mods makes it interesting, least till they are discovered. Heck not even knowing the damage types and range of the ships is a big deal.

I`m looking forward to this more and more now.

This would be a nightmare to do, but tossing out the idea. After the NPC goes down (which it will ;) it would be nice for recognition not only to individuals, but to feds who fought as a team or overall. Perhaps even a fed reward for the Feds which are most active / # players or who distinguish themselves with teamwork, intel sharing etc.

it would be nice especially for the newer players who are active in clearing the lower ranks or sacrificng their fleets thus allowing a stronger player to slip by to build for a more effective hit. They (newer less wealthy empires) may not be able to do damage directly, but it would give them a "feel" of pride in doing their part and belonging.

One has medals for individual bravery etc, and then there are the "Regimental honors" which carry through history to build a kinship (just ask any current member of the 101 Airborne and they will talk of the responsibility of carrying on the proud history of the 101). it could be subjective in the Admin staff...but public recog and an award of a few trinkets...10 STCs for each fed member or something.

Just a thought.
