I can`t be the only person to see this bug that the top players use and no one has ever said anything
This is about VM a 3 day VM dosent give you 24 hours of turns befor your dp ends but if you vm for more than 7 days you get 24 hours of turns befor your VM ends the top players use this bug to have a better chance of keeping there clusters I think that is wrong abusing the game for your own advantage the 7 day vm should be the same as a 3 day vm !!!

Tactics are tactics, if you don`t like the move along sir. What some people see as playing fair others don`t ect. For instance i think it`s cheating when i get hit, i despise anyone who hits me no matter the reason, the pr, or if they win or lose....but i try not to complain to much.

lol @ Honduh...i didnt know u could be so honest :P Also, my position on the subject is similar to Grad`s. i just wonder sometimes what other players r thinking is all...
*shrugs* I don`t VM unless I have something that will keep me away from a computer for that amount of time. I don`t think I`ve ever VMed to get away from people who were coming after me, I might have, but I don`t think so. Frankly, if people want to attack, then VM to save their clusters, or hide from retals, they can go right ahead. I`ll play for another week and enjoy the game while they can`t do anything.

i only play this game for the,

its amazing to me how many players that wont/cant play this game str8 up. there r so many cowardly,dishonest, or plain old unfair tactics being used. i still dont get how people feel like they are doing well or winning when they are cheating...it is very lame to hit a bunch of people then VM to avoid losing clusters. i mean why even play the game if ur not going to actually play the game????

Yes and it has been abused forever by certain empires. The thing is that its a part of the game and it wont be changed. If you have an enslaver do it you can get an admin to put him in np so you can break free.
Many empires do it so they wont lose clusters/fleet or avoid counters and there is nothing to do against it. It has been discussed before but reqiures Stephen to change the code. Besides, there are so many using that tactic that I believe it will be hard to agree on a change. Because legit use should ofc still be possible.
Just accept it as a part of the game, the only thing you can do is to put a suitable "tag" on the empires if youre using Anfits mod for your own giggles.

But the big players don`t use it because they got to leave they use it because if they get in a bind they vm for 7 days and they get an extra 24 hours of dp to use turns

What happens when you go in vacation mode:-
1. You must not attack anyone (within 24 hour) to activate this.
2. Your turns will be -1 (or zero) until x days
3. In vacation you will be placed under damage protection
4. In vacation you will earn 0 turns.
Things to do before activating vacation mode:-
1. Use all your turns.
2. Build up your defenses and your border planets.
What happens when you go out of vacation mode:-
1. You will be defenseless, out of DP with no turns. (below 7 days vacation)
