Why GC doesn`t grow

we have a young player just joined Rabies. A newbie. 10 days old empire. he kept trying to build, and one player kept hovering just above and then nailing him back. I will add the attacking player is a VETERAN cherry picking on a new player trying to play....in theory I would think a VETERAN should know better as to a new player`s problems learning the game.

PM went out. i won`t post the entire reply sent to me by our Fedmate, but here`s some snippets from one PM ( not several and there was only one PM sent out, and one sent back so this is the message a VETERAN sent to a 10 day old empire, unpaid, being hit by a Marauder and unable to climb except to get creamed again and again and again. )...

"...don`t blame the races, Terran is more than capable of countering Marauder, it is your own lack of skill that caused your failures. "

and

"You can say what ever you want, doesn`t change the fact you`re a terrible player ... ."

OK...so someone please tell me how this is going to encourage this new player to have a positive attitude about staying in the game?

i won`t mention the VETERAN or the Fed, but if the fed ever wondered why the recent UW had everyone against it .... wonder no more.

Rudeness shouldn`t be forgiven just because you`re a new player. I have always helped any new player who has something along the lines ...

Hey you keep beating me, how can I change that?

Don`t cherry pick the sentences you want to copy and paste to show a biased view Flashy, tsk tsk. teach your newbs manners, and maybe they won`t get owned so hard.

I`ll nail your as* later. hard to compete with a paid especially one who who sits and won`t let fleets be built. Not that i have anythng against cowards ... i also don`t have anything against people who have sex with cadavers either.

From what I`ve heard, your fed fits both.


Rude much? A new player with an attitude like that? Doesn`t deserve to stay in the game.

In GC, its hit, or get hit. Don`t talk to me about rubbish about sitting around letting new players hit you, especially for a non-explorable race like Marauder.
