I am stockpiling food now while my population is still small and food prices are dirt cheap. My goal is to stock a billion food I am only 20% of the way there though.

I`m still spending turns and eating food :P The upkeep is killing me :S

I`m loving this food price and the availability of goods. It`s just like the good old days

ahhwell.. will go in VM tomorrow, (last exams, and holiday afterwards :p)
when i return, market will be more favorable .. i hope :D

the surplus is due to some of the big tax empires up high in PR sitting on expensive fleets not wanting to burn turns willy nilly due to upkeep costs (assuming they are not just strafez spamming).

Also tie in the fact that Nihilim is back and a few other agri empires seem to of gotten a few more planets for their C3`s in the makings and it results in more production, less consumption and a flood of product. Thus resulting in food at 5-6 and still getting returns.

the food market is just ridiculously now... i get food returning that was posted at $6
can`t figure how small producers survive this :s

i wasnt accusing, just an observation/suspicion is all. because food was a steady 7 with periods of 6, because you would post up 30-40 bil @ once or in a day then no put anything up for 3-4 days (how it seemed in my eyes).

food at 5 made me feel like maybe just one fert went to some1 who was more activly posting then you were

Yeah, they had me take a look and he never lost his gordo`d land. Those precious clusters went poof like the rest of this things.

Apollo., I wouldn`t go around accusing me of things, I restarted with the colonies with me, staff can even check my battles if they want. I have nothing to hide as they went poof with me.

Well I`m a taxer, so at least someone is eating your food :p

I usualy place such U.class on my borders if i get one or happen to explore one. =)

You might want to search guard boarders evey now and again..I give them away when I find em. :)
