I vm`d my RT empire because I had 3 colonies and was out of DP.

As much as I agree with you Sibi, the problem is this has gone on for 5-6 years now, I have seen it enough times that I have just given up fighting and harassing the vmer`s and might as well do the same.
Sibi - You know me, ever the arrogant prick. =) You`d be very confused if I wasn`t.
But hey, RL will always beat GC for me, and I am okay with that.
In this situation there wasn`t much of a `fight it out.`
I logged on, built a fleet to hit someone and got the `Empire is in DP message`. Pete then logged in to counter me, so I had about 3 seconds to VM prior to Empire death :P I`d have been okay with letting Pete have the c3, but I really hate doing infra research :P Empire death just isn`t worth it.

VM is abused all the time. How many times has Kelti done the same thing? Accord on fast? Or Omeg who seems to be VM-building a UW fleet on slow.
The funny thing about this one is just all the co.cky PM´s sent from Ren leading up to his VM :-)
At least he is one of the few with guts to stay in MB when they suddenly cant use fed war to their own advantage, but others use it on them.

He vm his empire because he had blah blah blah and was out of dp.. He gave his objective and his reason.. and he himself conclude it..
Its great he admit it himself but i dont think its fairplay still.. same like any vm`er who does to protect his clusters.. Eg.. a person who steals everyday.. and a person who steal once..

not everyone has the luxury to play 20 hours a day , RL some times interferes. For the past two years I could only play about 1 hour a day because my wife threaten to divorce me. Just recently has she allowed me to play again; however, she still hates the time I spend on this game with a passion. Nevertheless, why should someone give up good planets or clusters because RL calls when they don`t have too
