A Monty Python skit

Anyone recall the skit on Spam by Monty Python`s Flying Circus? Seems to be taken to the extreme in battles lately. Vets i never would have dreamed of being a spammer are spamming their fleets these days.

I had begun noticing it..but I was spam attacked by a vet i would have laid 100 gordos that they would never be a spammer. When asked, the reply was that the new build rates and re engineering designs made spamming so much more advantageous over a balanced fleet.

Any comment?

idk about you. But it doesnt always happen to me. if it does i don`t loose more than 1.

a good 2 stack spam will always take out the top 4 stacks, so stack if you can afford to lose those top for... unless you lead double fodder

nah stack up... seriously.. it is very helpful. While spamming will die in a few so hits.. Stack will last you.

Spam up high and rebuild immediately with something else, win that way sir. Constantly change up your composition of the spam / stack and go to victory.

I don`t see how that has anything to do with stacking vs spamming. I could spam up high, win a battle, just to have the enemy build back up with a counter spam and wipe my fleet....

It`s also about your enemies. You could build a stack that you lose the top 4 but still win against a spam, but then when you come back you`re too far down to do anything.

Or the favorite yet is, have a stack and then get hit on careful by a spam, to then ahve them build up a 3/4 spam and wipe your fleet...

w/e floats your boat play the game how you will.

People spam because its easy, they don`t know how to stack correctly. I have countless battles with spammers where I`ve won while stacking. It is not overpowered, its just easy, and people don`t know how to stack and they get torn up by spams

spamming is just that over-powered. Even on defence, i realize that when i spam, i win more than when i stack. *shrugs*

if i wasnt collective id stack.... i have alwasy been fond of my stacks where the total pr @ the bottom is withing 50k of the total pr of the top stack
