Ok so I finally figured out how to get the gc client however, it came with one small issue. There were no folders at all. So, when I activated it (and yes it was detected) it simply didn`t work.

I tried making folder names and moving files, but sadly, I just don`t remember what they are.

If anyone has the GC client, and knows where all the files go or has a location to download a version that is properly configured it would be greatly appreciated. :)

yup that`s the way to fix it.

Client Fix

Note: this is a very general fix, and I have no idea if it affects other webpages or changes security settings.

For anyone that IS having trouble making the client working...

Internet Explorer:
click top menu bar: Tools > Internet Options
click tab: Security
click check mark: Trusted Sites
click button: Sites

This site should be displayed, if not...
add website: http://gc.gamestotal.com/

uncheck: Requires Server Verification...
click button: OK

There are no folders in the GC client.

not yet... all the files were put in one folder under c:\gc\gc... so, it isn`t recognizing all the files just a few of them. None of the important ones are showing up... I just get that image that shows up when an image is missing.

I imagine the problem is that I don`t have the files in their proper folders cause it didn`t create any folders when I installed it.

If I had all the names of the folders I could manually add the files in there. :)

and what`s the error you get? i`m trying it now, and apparently the images don`t load... hmm...

Actually I am using IE... I wouldn`t use any other browser.

I only want the client cause I get long loading times from time to time and it`s getting a bit annoying. :P

I think it only works on Internet Explorer, so maybe it`s cos you`re using another browser.

Anyway I doubt you need the client. Doesn`t make much of a diff.

Here is the GC client download link and once you have downloaded it you just unzip it to the locatio C:\GC\GC and it moves all the pictures etc to the right location. You then go to the client page on GC and enable it.

There is also Anfit`s Mod Pack if you are you are using Firefox which gives you many benefits like old school forum themes and a turn ticker. Anfit also has a clientfix that when its installed the Game does not detect it but it still works.
