The DM is now Active.

We will be Opening up the DM, it should become active for all of you the next server refresh.

This DM is just a test to see how it runs since it is old and dusty. if everything runs fairly smooth we possibly, probably, almost, may, host DMs in the future for prizes.

There are some issues.

First off Missions are disabled so we would like you to post your DM empire name and ID in this thread so we can go through and set missions for you. If you do not you will be forced to play Terran

The Forum link will not work from the DM server.

To explore you must be in a fed, once your in a fed you are stuck. there`s no way to remove yourself or anyone else.

Turn Regen is at 3.5 secs/turn
Turn Storage is 250
DP will last 90 minutes.
This DM will last until Monday.

For those of you who don`t know, If you have an active paid on any other account you can have a paid on the DM. You will see this “Active Paid-Account Status" as you log in. Click it and input the your Account info. You will be required to do this each time you log in.

DM is really fun because of the super fast turn regen and huge turn cap, but it takes away my focus from RT ;p

It`s really hard to play a.miner on DM because there are so many minerals at $500 and no rm to make cgs. I should have gone tax, but too late now. maybe next time we have dm!

I`ll say it again this is a test, if it were a real DM you will all have plenty of warning so you can plan plot and scheme with your friends.

in the future, give the server like a 72 hr heads up so feds can coordinate their teams. since we cant change feds this is leading to a sort of CF

all the necessary things are available on the market cheap food and mins, thats all you need for a death match everything else is just a want...

and this go around there is no point, aside from practice i guess. i the future we may host DM`s for fabulous prizes...or mediocre ones, but a prize is a prize

Interesting starting as a newbie. Used to having unlimited resources...now i have to watch or i`m negative.

one area i`d comment on is the lack of resources at the beginning. Paids have a huge advantage..and btw other than beating each others brains in, what`s the goal?

Not meant as whining or complaining...just general observations
