Don`t restart!!!

Simple solution turn all you housing labor into Ag labor. Even if you have no Ag infra research you will be able to place more labor in Ag because your labor requirements for housing to max a cluster are very low.

Tax miners and virals
this calculation will be a rough estimate of what you would make with no ag infra research and food @20+

(total land allocated to AG) (multiplied by 10) diveded by 2

example A miner with 50k land allocated to Ag with no infra

50,000(10) = 500,000/2 = 250,000 food per turn

250,000 food per turn at current market prices is $5 million per turn and up. Than when food drops to reasonable levels than convert back to tax based economy. Changing infra does not effect loyalty so it`s little inconvience.

So "tax" based empires there are other options besides restarting . If you can`t beat them than join them and produce food aswell \**/

food is (10) per labor. I know this for i fact i have had to do it before . So if you have 50,000 land allocated to Ag it`s 500,000 food multiplied by race mod.

TBK most tax empires rely on larges not clusters to boost their land and income. larges as u know cannot be used for agri.

now granted clusters can be used as can ferts if they are present

and a miner with 50k land to agri only makes around 25,000 food a turn with no research into agri.

so thats wat? 750k a turn which is still good.

suggestion is to make ur own food till u max out, then just sell in 500 mill blocks, make it bak and rinse and repeat. that way u have effecftivly free food - the cost of buying ore to repopulate ur colonies once food drops bak to a reasonmable level

Well, I restart yes I was tax, but it`s time for me to try something else, but I`ll be back at that 33million a turns soon:)

btw, thanks for the tip
