Wondering About Marauders ?

Maru needs no boosts, nor buffs. The only real drawback to the race compared to days of old, is lack of income/targets for plunder- And the increasingly unstable food markets, and again targets (for borders) for those choosing Agriculture.

I`ve played Maru for five or six years now, and will `til the day I finally hang up my hat for good. And I can assure you, they need no additional perks.

Im maru on both fast and ultra.. Dont nerf the guards.. Just SLOW down the br of guards ships as a stack around 15%.. I believe guards br will still be better than any other race..

the Marauder race is cool banana`s = was alot easier and funner when there were more empires to hunt but tbh its easy enough to grab free borders at least twice a day from bored old players.. (no names) =)

Food is up and down, and will always be so but you can still make plenty enough $$.. Plunder Maru - what a joke thats pointless these days..
I`ve been a Maru in 3 seperate empires and the last time (my UW recently) was the weakest one of them all -- they really are a strong race BUT we could do with a more competitive build rate. Saying that, the D class ships are great and all ships are cheap as chips so can`t really complain..

To all other races - give it a try, Maru is a fun and challenging race to play =)

guardian is a retirement race, no plans for the future, no uws, fighting is easy, make money by messing up the food market (dam reposters) etc etc

with prices @ 7 food maru is lame and theres no skilled players left in the game who want to be plunder maru

months ago when i went maru, within 8 hours i bought like $50bil worth of goods for free (i get lucky and tend to restart when a big empire desides to sell ALL their stock). having all that extra cash gave me no incentive to research or even build and empire i found it quite boring. i guess what i saying is the combination of a lot of 0 mineral ships and low up keep made the race seem to easy when you have over 10bil$

the only thing i dont like about maru is no starbases

nerf guards nerf guards wy always whit nerf guards they got almost no income unless you get lucky cheat or uw and once you do go guard you can nolonger uw

guards are rank support thats what they are made for there there to smack people around not hunt or explore or get rich or have lots of colls or choices of ships or even colls kick but ships that build extra slow guards are ment to go up and down like a yoyo

Marauders are fine and still a deadly empire, the UW was a show of that on RT.

marus are actually amazing. but people dont play them probably because you cant explore and there arent many targets out there.

Maru`s only problem is no new players.
