Meh, this is why I no longer care, people really dont understand staff and their jobs, or the reason why people don`t get to become staff because of X or Y. Wing, I rather not argue with you, but the reason you were frozen was because of an abuse of a bug, which was known. Not because of a market abuse per se. Second, I had explained that after that incident in fed forums on Ultra, so I dont get why we need to bring up the past issue of this. Third, I really dont appreciate the staff bashing when even though I was CC I am also M|K and yet I am see more as some CC person than all my TB work combined somehow ... same goes for Aba as to how he has been treated.

You know, I mean what if all the staff quit, you would really be up a creek because Ste would just promote people from UC to take over staff positions. I guess that is what people want. Good riddance

Accordex posted on the chat that she was coming out of dp with 4 colonies, for someone to take as she was done playing. I have SS`s of this to prove the time lapse. I happened to be the person to hit first.

As stated above if anyone continues to bash me about being a cheating staff i will remove it and direct you to open a threat in the HC where another staff member may take a look into it.

the truth is every feels that every administration is bias and is screwing people over while lining their own pocket. i dare you to find 10 people to replace the staff with that haven`t been in the same fed in the past or had a past friendship...Then i would love to see how you purpose to keep them from becoming friends while being staff.

I feel we have way too many people on RT as staff in one degree or another. We need more turn based staff members that are able to give insight to the dynamics of those servers and actually know how the balance of power is on those servers. With staff on the TB servers it also makes it MUCH easier to do events for them.

One of the main reasons why the TB servers don`t have events is becasue we are lacking proper insights as to how the event would effect the server in teh both short and long term. If we got some TB players on staff they could orginise events that would please their fellow TB players, which as a rule are more skillful players than RT, yes I said it.

Keep an eye out in teh possible near future, we may have a recruitment drive for some more staff with a heavy leaning towards TB based players.

Hopefully that will satisfy the TB player base for wanting more events for them and to add a bit more transparancy into the inner workings of the staff positions.

I really hope you don`t expect us to think that Accord is so not-smart that she would lose a single coll with an explorable race. Whatever, like she posted a while ago (which got removed immediately by BW) everyone cheats. That is only an example I have to give. Tons of players have their own stories. What I am really saying is that it is frustrating that our staff cheats, are all allied to each other, and at the same time flex their staff power in predominantly one direction, at their enemies.

Takeaway: Would be nice to have a more well balanced staff of upstanding players who care about everyone.

I was extremely polite to you, wingnut, and looked through all the information myself to review your case. I even made sure you were compensated a bit more than normally , for the timing. And what I get for being polite, and trying to help you out is slander?

You say I cheated, I still have my SS`s of where I did no such thing. You say I`m biased? How so, when I went out of my way to help you get out of suspension and compensation.

Well for one I have no idea aboutt eh apparent accord/Rais PT, i wasn`t playing at the time so I have no idea what may or may not of happened.

Regarding your UW, I also don`t know what happened regarding it due to not being involved with any aspect of the decisions, however 2 week wait is indeed unacceptable for something like that (the UW reward).

You did get it however so you really should be thankful of it. The UW rewards, as you know, are not something that was always given out. It was only relativly recently (2 years? maybe 3?) old and only put in place by volenteer staff as a rather weak incentive for players to UW. We do not have to actually give out UW rewards so yeah. The people that UWed in 05 and 06 didn`t get anything except their names in the hall of fame, and then reduced to a brang new bog standard restarted empire with a 500 land balanced, no artifacts and no ship carry over. Please keep that in mind.

If you think there is corruption in the staff ranks, there is an option in the Help Center with:

Abuse > Complain against Guide/Admins

Click that and post your complaint. It goes directly to stephen and we, as G/A`s, have no view on the post and zero input regarding it.

I suggest you do that if you suspect dodgy staff. Also keep in mind not all staff are in CC for GC and back in the day there was a hell of alot in Bastard Clan and Distemper, roughly the same numbers as in CC and they where both at war with eachother (still are just under different names).

Wouldn`t be true at all, least I would hope not anyways. It takes time to get the rewards set up and handed out, and only done when the right staff memeber is online and has the time to do so. They would also have to do other activities that are more important than a mear UW reward. Your not a special little snowflake, no-o

There are plenty of disadvantages to being outside of your CC staff club.

If you`re really going to pretend like you don`t get what I am talking about, take my suspension on Ultra during the last UW I did there as an example. I had to explain in and out, over and over why I would buy something on the market for cheap and repost it higher, hours of explaining a totally legitimate aspect of the game. I was totally in the right, wasn`t cheating even slightly.

And I had to explain all this non-sense to Raistallin!!!!!! who had just P-Ted a 200K fertile with Accord on RT.

why would we suspend you for having an opinion? I wouldn`t, and I doubt anyone else would. If you started personal attacks on teh forums or just became insufferable on the forums you may get a silence, but not suspended or anything like that, however there are exceptions I guess...like TBK.

Some reason people seem to think the staff are crooked/cheaters/abusers. I have no idea why. It may be due to something that happened in my 3 year break from GC when I went to play other games and study.

Either way, no-one plays at a disadvantage. Staff have no advantage over other players.

If you say we need more fresh blood to the staff team, are you volenteering to join us? Maybe if we took you in you would see that there is no corruption/shonky activity and/or dishonesty. Or would that make you then part of the supposed `clique` and thus alienated from your friends?

I really don`t see the reasoning behind such aggressive posts, but I belive everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if flawed or wrong or just plain cooky.

Just remember, if it wasn`t for the volenteer staff, this game would of died about 3 years ago, possibly 4 years ago. Keep that in mind when you go off your rocker accusing us of `doing the dirty`.

If you want to do it here, thats also fine, but remember to be civil and courtious, calling people names and such will not be tolerated as per normal chat/forum rules :P

Why not just get some non-biased, non-cheating, players who aren`t all in the same alliance and who don`t have incentive to harass anyone who is not part of their click? Why not get some of the hundreds of players who have the time and interest to work on the hundreds of updates we can actually do? Oh, yeah, it would be not-smart for a dirty, lazy cop to involve anyone who is not just like them. I don`t have to quit because the staff sucks, I just have to play at a disadvantage.

you totally misread GM, i said head admin, which we lack, is the one to give out the UW rewards, everything else including the general running, cheat detecting, banning, suspending and fixing the server when it gets funny is all able to be done by the current staff.
