According to Wings post it was Accord who said "everyone cheats" some time ago, which BW edited out as soon as he saw it.

Wing...what`s with you these days/ You think someone is cheating/ post it. Plain and simple. Being public means it has to be dealt with. Via exoneration or castigation. You beieve staff has a clique` ? Then join `em. Plenty of room available for another volunteer staffer.

You are having a tendency these days to toss out allegations and then treat them as true. Like when you said i backstabbed Sadi in the UW. You couldn`t come up with anything specific (or vague for that matter) and Sadi posted I didn`t. But you tossed it out, were slammed back, and slunk off without a corrective apology. Leaving that rumor to rot its fetid stench.

And ealier in the posts...you claimed `everyone cheats`. Really? Care to cite any instance where I cheated/ Or Green? Or Arch? Or Ear/ No one in Rabies cheats...not that i am aware of. Kinda knocks down that statement "everyone" doesn`t it?

My advice? Walk the tak. Man up. Quit bit*hin` unless you`re willing to back it up.

Brotherhood, thanks for the mention :) I`d love to have the power to do things in the game besides running events with my own empire, which anyone could do if they felt like it.

Please note that I dislike being lumped in as someone who would favour friends over enemies as a staff member. Now, maybe I wasn`t supposed to be included in the sweeping statements of bias, since I don`t have any power whatsoever in the game, just the fancy (G) in the chat and different coloured text on the forum, but I would hope by now that even my enemies know I`m always willing to sell minerals on the market if asked (within reason :P ) no matter who is asking, or answer questions from any source. If I ever happen to have staff powers I`d always treat everyone the same, since I don`t like bias in real life whenever I see it, I certainly wouldn`t indulge in it here. It would irritate me.

The only way I could see my response to allies being quicker, would be because they have me on msn, and so can let me know there`s an issue they have even when I`m not on GC. That being said, my MSN is [email protected] if anyone ever feels like adding me, I love having GC people on my list :) (The 0 in j0n is a zero, not a capital letter O)

Okay wing, I severly misunderstood what you meant then heh. The thing was MD is that bug was abused and needed to be fixed is all. Problem is only select people can fix things. I also always bring food for thought about better staff communications and gameplan but that I leave up to others and their opinions. Kind like a more informational gameplan of what staff wants to tackle next projects wise. That being said some players frozen are done sometimes quickly or 3 to 4 days after investigation. I can name people on both sides of this because when most times a person is frozen we want to make sure it is the right decision. VVV was frozen almost a week after investigation. Wing was frozen pretty quickly. It just depends on the issue and how to resolve it. Anyhow, where I would like to go is probably something I rather approach to staff first and then communicate it to players.

EA thats awesome bro!! Thanks for doing all that you guys are, this game not going to die just because BW is gone,Been here before and will be here after he gone. Everyone said same thing the last regime change. Might not be who everyone wants running it but it will go on!! Never know we might even get someone who is on fire for this game and not too busy to do anything with it. I remember alot of folks crying when BW got the job saying there goes the game in a hand basket, but in all i think BW turned out OK. On that Note i vote for Grad to be Admin, he the most strait and non bias player/guide (no offence to others) in the game period. if not him then maybe Arch or EA? No matter who it is i hope its someone that will be a little more active and have time and desire to do things. BW did not have the time anymore that was obvious to everyone. I love this game as all who know me can tell i just dont have the tech exp. really wish there was stuff i could help with. I am stay at home dad that has bucket loads of time and would put 4-12 hours aday into this game if i was givin the know how and chance to do so. So if there is EVER anything that this ol hillbilly could do to help please PM me and let me know thanks =)

I just would like to say founders for the most recent event (The 6 race NPC`s) was a spontainious throw up at the time. Yes it was planned and all that jazz, but as far as I`m aware when it happened it wasn`t planned. OK that makes no sense but I`m sure you understand.



Side note: UW rewards can now be handed out. Sadi, please get in touch with me and we can get the ball rolling for your rewards and such. The link to the thread where you can pick your colonies is above this one, make sure you have your forum set to archive however.

Staff are all allied and in 1 fed/click, not all cheat but some are definetly biased to there own and allied causes, maybe not always blatently outright. There has been many occasions where someone outside of the said click who is very much opposed to them has done something and someone from the click has reported it to there staff friends who have suspended the person instantly and investigated wink wink then punished them or not. (like wingnut and another comes to mind which caused a major upset at the time)
Now people outside the click report possible cheating to the staff the empire in question is from the click does not get suspended during the so called investigation and gets away with it even when they admit it.
So people outside get punished even if they hav not done any wrong and people inside dont get punished when they have.
There might not be blatant cheating ie giving planets and stuff but there is other kinds. Another is when some from the click is ripe for the kill or losing big clusters they are given special dp at the vital moment. Another is special events being held when the click control the ranks and none when they dont.
All these things put some people at a disadvantage but does not mean they will or should quit. It just means we have to wait and hope that one day the staffing is balanced.

Although it is weird that you assume I want to argue about some event which we agree was taken care of. The point of what I was making is that I didn`t like having to justify my legitimate game playing to someone who, myself and the majority of GC sees as an actual cheater (not accusing here raist, just sayin`) It is not so much about proving innocence, it is about being harassed by what alot of people see as a biased staff.

omeg, I almost pmed you to say don`t worry about all of this. It`s not about you at all. You`re an example of what we need more of.
