I was wondering I explored a new world but it has only 3 max land can I increase this ? because thats awfully low:(

to answer the question, yes you can increase it with minor/major gordo artifacts. however, as wheelsofsteel pointed it, it would probably be much better to just plunder it.
you might as well plunder it and explore for better planets
