new players

I have many game-slut friends on FB. but no GC facebook page for me to spam on my FB wall. if the staff (maybe even stephen) create this fanpage i would `like` it then tell ppl about it. It might be good to make this sort of fanpage with all the desc and screenshots to spur curiosity.... At least that is what can be done if no hosting on FB.
Maybe there is this page and i just havent `liked` it. If so can i have link?

Why dont we just see if Alpha centari will do something like that with his version? Anyone here from him? Wonder if he still working on that project?!!

Chess.com allows you to play via facebook and has such a partnership with facebook. It tries to get you to get a paid membership but other than that doesn`t harass you for money. So getting this game connected to facebook doesn`t seem like an impossible task.

I, for one, know that if I posted about GC on my facebook, there isn`t a single person who would care, except for Jammer, and vice-versa. It just doesn`t work that way...


There have been other games who have randomly gotten an explosion of members due to the occasional post on certain imageboards...

SS13 was a dying game until they got ahold of it. I`m just sayin.

what if they workd out a deal with a new FB game that was like spacefed that stephen could pay w/e to ahve GC avertised as another version?

not to mention that Facebook would not work out due to the fact that Stephen would have to sell ownership of the game for it to be hosted on FB.

We have enough imbalances Deathroe, we don`t need more.

I like the Facebook idea - but I have no idea if it would work or if it makes financial sense to the `Owner-ship`

Somewhere in my past collegiate studies, the economics and marketing staff agreed on one very significant fact: it takes 5 times more recources ($$$$) to acquire new clients (players) then it takes to retain old/existing clients.

So, the moral of the story - recruite older/veteran players will be more efficient. But how do we do this???????????

Expand the Game - add new races!!!! Create imbalances which will make the game more exciting. It is a well proven fact that business grow through expansion!!

if eh can work it out right i meen if theres how many ppl playin from facebook and how many ppl buyin paids might nto need to buy mins n all that with cash the income might alrdy eb amazing ya know O>o altho a cashcow would be a cashcow O.o maybe if he made like a pre version of the game that ppl could play and that would adertise for the full version here? O.o itd give advertisements and generate cash for a dimmd down version ;)

most of the games on facebook generate thousands upon thousands of players, If Gc offered a % of their income from money they make from paids ect ect, they game would explode with activity but then sadly this could change the game route with them selling minerals for $ and perhaps planets, or artifacts, there is a lot of money that could be made with such a partnership but this is what we play there probably wont be anything like this done.

Stephen should pay facebook to host GC on it for given months with % to income pay.

maybe by adding bot empires of all races like 2 of each ;P i dun rememebr what that discussion came out to last time >.< but itd help them play the pay races which might help keep more atleast till we get enoguh to go without em
