Yo thanks for the shoutout there Jammer.
I have been here on and off, under different names, since the very beginning. Treg and the Bronxeon wars are some of my first memories of this game, though being new I just kept to myself and stared in awe at the titans who were fighting to the death in the PR range above me...
For the most part, when I started playing I was very much a lone wolf and didn`t ask for nor recieved help from anyone for quite some time. I played a year or so before I ever messaged another player or said anything in chat. Eventually I went collective, because back when there were 500 active players on an average day they made serious bank. That is when I started meeting people.
EVILincarnate - For some reason, he consistently beat me. I lost to people, sure, we all do, but he destroyed me without fail. And he also played collective. I had to ask him how he did it. With his help, I became, along with Gollum (Maraudian) and Angmar one of the most feared low pr fighters on the server.
With this newfound skill and minor respect, I was invited to join the top ranked fed on RT at the time, AAOP. It was during my time here that I met my next mentor.
DraconianParadise - He`s the one that taught me that stacking is more than number crunching and combinations. Sometimes you could win a fight simply by having a stack so crazy that they`ll never see it coming. I remember he once said that there is not a stack in the game that can beat a C. Ares spam at high power. Do crazy stuff, he`d say.
He also taught me about leadership, and I used this to my advantage when I moved on from that Fed.
Then I started Tempest, which was in its prime the most socially active fed to ever be on GC... The fed discussion board usually moved faster than GC chat.
This is where I met the next series of people to influence and teach me.....
To be continued on next post.....
