A few newblets around.. Take islander for example.. He keeps trolling at br but donated his borders to us enexplorable and even a max loyalty to one of our guards.. Captaincharisma did whine about ultra but when i did my uw, he as a guard did not even do anything.. Whats the purpose of a guard that whine but never even try hitting me once.. Too many to mention.. I realised the quiet ones did the most dmg to us..

I dont get why ppl keep claiming Ultra is dead. What is the diffenrence to any other TB server except normal??? On fast the EoE alliance can UW whenever they want, on slow MK can as well. And CC could probably do it on RT as well since they started getting allied to half the feds there.

I agree with Crack, this is a very good time to start playing ultra and join the opposition. The empires blown where almost all miners, so its not like they get a huge advantage by taking hoko to some other race.

If ever its a good time to start on ultra.. Now is the time.. We lost thief.. Wing blah me and arch.. 5 down.. Dont just whine that the server is dead due to us.. It takes 2 to clap/tango.. Whatever..

Well what can I say -- at least no matter what, this UW will go better than my last try ...

Last time, I went from 400 mil pr, but halfway through, my laptop burnt out [I had it plugged in on my bed, with my alarm set to wake me up every couple of hours ... unfortunately, the laptop overheated and went boom, unlike my UW].

As reward, I lost all my colonies, including the ever-so-useful-for-a-miner 10k u fert I obtained from my previous successful go!.

ouch, hurtful words wingmut... your probably right though, i probably never will do a UW... too much time involved that i dont have... all im saying is it takes a real strategist to build too high for a decimated server to reach and launch a UW... no one can fight it and you all know that... so once again gratz arch :) get that extra ship any way you can right?

why fight...just let er blow..research more infra..ultra is as dead as dead can be..that is evident in the UWs being done..no excuse no reason,,BR can do it so they do..congrats and keep it up,,good job..I just wonder who your going to attack

No, it is just every argument the UW losers have been posting since this game has been starting. It is one of those:
1)you are killing a dead game
2)wait until next time, then I will have my BTCs fused
3)I could have killed the UW, but why should I waste my artis to do so? If I ever win cluster I want to protect it with them!
4)If I had more resources I would have fought
5)Your empires are cheating, that is why you are able to UW
6)We are the better alliance, but you got lucky once again
7)I was going to kill the UW, but EXACTLY these two days I was busy. It couldn`t prevent me to use 1500 turns on RT and write 50 forum posts thou.
8)I could have done UW if I wanted, but it is too easy, so you newbies are doing the newbie UW
9)I can always destroy your UWs(right) but I can`t care.

lol, I was wondering how long you`d take to try to shut my argument down, and look, you all did it with such vigor. :D

Honestly though, I am actually laughing a bit at how quick and enthusiastic the response was from you guys. I`m not a big Ultra player, most of the time I sit there with one planet and research mining, and I don`t really care what you guys are doing there, I`m throwing in some hits each UW, but I haven`t bothered combining the arties I have into STCs and BTCs, nor have I been actively digging to try to get those resources. I just threw that comment out there, both to troll (does that post classify as an attempt at trolling? I`m not really experienced at it.) and because I really am tired of you saying over and over again that you`re just balancing out the server and whatnot. Just say what you`re doing, chain UWing, and leave it at that, you`ve got your reasons, but most of all, you can do it, and I seriously doubt it will cause lasting harm to the server, so the people complaining should just bunker down and fight, or wait, it out. It`s just the repetition of the same argument every UW in the chain that`s getting tiring for me.
