Bring back Mara!!!

This game needs active staff, people who are active, not only in the ranks but everywhere else too. Mara had such good plans and ideas for this game, its such a pitty he`s gone.

A cheat report with Mara would go through in no time...a bug abuse or bug problem also...Botting in his online times was very difficult or literally impossible.

I know some of the staff have done a lot for this game, i do appreciate BWs and SDs contributions to ship management and neutrality, do not get me wrong but i have the feeling both them and other staff are way too inactive to take care of a game which needs a lot of attention to get it back alive.
Also (again do not take this wrong, i have nothing personal with the current people in staff) but i think the staff should be more balanced and not one sided when it comes to fed membership and friendships. Admins, mods and staff should always be totally neutral to any situation and i think i am not the only one here who thinks the staff should get some balancing. I am not trying to poke CC and co. here, they are the oldest players around right now i guess, empire wise, and they all have amazing knowledge about this game which i do respect. But they do not stand alone in experience. You do get players still playing servers not allied necessarily to one fed only who would be willing to be Admin, staff or help staff etc. with a total neutral stand due to their empire history.

I mean, take soccer for example. In a national game you do not really get a ref. that comes from the same country as any of the two teams playing and any favoring usually ends up in a lot of talking and buhs and conspiracy...blablabla...

all i am saying is we need more balance and activeness!!!

This conversation is over. If you have something to say about an ongoing investigation/deactivation, post it in the proper area in the hc or not at all. I trust this will not be an issue again..

9 guides and 2 admins...which is plenty..well should be at least. But you get the answer of we busy from most..what i always wondered is busy with what? no updates no events non existent for most part it seems...maybe if they let us know what they busy with there would not be so much complaining...ive tried to figure that out for years and to no avail lol....i too love our guys but if their work was seen more i think threads like this would not exist...take fedwar discussion for example..not a response from admin or anyone for days...if you that busy pass the torch...just sayin =)

@ Helvitia, nothing was given to me, as for the dp`s, base prs, and all that I did the math and know them quite well. I also had a good hunch at what they built since I was online watching. Confidential information was never passed on to me as then that would be against the rules and I would uphold them. That being said, I do like what you have to say Helvitia, however if the data is there to warrant it, would there need to be a discussion about this. Since this truly involves the admins, GG, and Opus. It might as well just stay there and have us stay out of their affairs or do we like to meddle in other people`s affairs all the time?

oh ok thanx for that...i thought people should since hes admin !!! i mean i rea dhis stuff regardless to the colour of the font, i just find it funny it has to be that big all the time. lol

anyways back to topic...fine mara may have done things here and there that didnt please everyone but he was still a motivated and dedicated admin and player who didnt need to hug his clusters *giggles* . fine hes gone, he wont come back, but like deamon said, the game needs more attention, fullstop and thats the purpose of this thread isnt it? to discuss that

this is rediculous this tread originaly was clearly a plea for more admins mabe even a few G`s more so that RL can be less of a factor in the everyday runnings of this game like events and code recovery/repair/changes

y then did it completely degenerate into a whos cheating and whats not being done or done too harshly about it?

this is rediculous no wonder noting can ever get done around here i don`t envie the admins the job they need to do on this game

@yes jiggy aka omeg - what do u know. i doubt you checked vvvs and ggs dp or online times and powers to exactly know whats going on and if you do know than obviously someone slipped out confidential information as i dont see your name anywhere near the staff empires.

@ bw. id appreciate if you stopped using your ridiculous red huge fonts to show everyone whos the boss here when it comes to certain matters that so many would like to discuss but do not get a chance to :) chess is an admin also and he doesnt happen to spam red colour all over the threads... i am sure a normal white font like everyone can settle any behaviour. and as for the fert. if you did have a chance why didnt you take it and get it and plunder it? would have been better :)...and if everyone knew about it, as it was announced on the chat instead of the forum how is it a former fed member of hers managed to grab it and not 30 to 40 other people around her? and why did she give out those retals to you guys and not anyone else??? dont you agree that these kind of things raise a lot of discussion and thoughts through the servers? i believe its normal. atleast with the lack of evidence it is.

anyways. as you can see from this thread which will soon be closed anyways...its two sided. one part supports certain ideas the other opposes them and they all happen to be in different alliances...what a coincidence...i wish ste read all this and had a laugh about it

well..what to say. this thread had nothing to do with VVV and GG getting suspended as it was created just before the suspension. but it does prove a little point here. it took several days to get VVV and GG suspended since the attack on 24th. a proper suspension would have happened right away and been investigated. someone is def sleeping here lmao. also...no reply was made on questions to why VVV was suspended since atleast 29 hours ago. i doubt it takes 29hours from any part of the world from that posting time on to investigate and reply so that the given player gets some clarity and knows what exactly is going on, atleast a little " hey we are investigating". another point to prove that staff is, lets be nice and say, somnolent.

@ Kyril, some have offered, the thing is trust and what would be done or would someone from say some other faction get the same flack as this is now? most likely so.... so I have no reason as others have stated to really do much because of these forum shenanigans.

As for VVV`s concern, having more staffs isn`t bad thing either...but who would be active enough/smart/eligible for it? I guess only Stephen himself or people working with him is the best..but..still this is dream..
