Has something changed?

Sometimes when clicking "research" I accidentally hit "Research Something Else" and it tells me something like "You will lose all investment if choose to cancel this research" at which point I say "NOOOOOOO". However I accidentally hit cancel today and a new box with a new message came up saying "You will carry forward all investment from this research if you choose to change research, please reconfirm". Does that just mean the same thing and is meant to trick n00bies or something or can I really take the turns I`ve invested and change my mind? I`m a thousand turns into this research level otherwise I`d be happy to just test it.

The message is still the same. As deamon said, Infra Research carries over if you cancel. Tech Tree research does not.

any infra research will carry over any other it will make you start ALL OVER AGAIN

i lost over 5 k on li by accident onece never EVER do it again

yes you can research under housing till 1 turn left then switch to agri and use that 1 turn and the level will go there..it tells you that your investment WILL carry over.....

I just tesed it out and yeah you carry your turns over to the next infra.
