Hoe do you increse the population on your systems in Galactic Conquest?

Build more housing infrastructure on the planet. At 0 housing infra level researched each housing building adds 10 pop. Then you just use turns when you have free space for population. The more population you have on a planet = more you get for each turn you use. So it grows slow at the start.
