I was thinking that as nice as paids are, they should maybe add a few fringe incentives to getting paids so as to encourage more buying, esp if you got a paid and then restarted as another race.
Wish there was some way you could "temporarily" give BTCs or turns to players in a "use it or lose it" kind of format so that they can get some of the basic ship research done quickly on turn based. You know, so you don`t just end up having to be in research mode for 2 months or more before you can even competitively play.
