Alright guys and gals, this is a thread for you to post what you dig on.

1, it is ok to post the same planet that someone else has already posted.
2, explain why you use the planet to dig on vs others
3, would be nice to see a nice variety of U.spaz/Gas/Oceanic
4, only one planet per empire please "don`t post 3 different planets"
5, NO FLAMING "please"

here i will start,

X.4428 U.Spazial 0 0 5000 2 2 0 Strafez Organism

I recently won this planet in battle, i have fount it produces better results then my old planet i dug on, I dig on this for a few reasons

1, its a u.spaz
2. only 2 land
3, i won it in battle
4, its X class and i always wanted a xclass 2 land spaz to dig on
5. It has 0 population, but population has nothing to do with dig results.

I just use a 2 land U.spaz, and I can produce 10-15 gordo a day. This seems to be a good return.

Oh and I always dig using 3 turns. I also found that digging in a short timespan yields slightly better results (eg save up all your turns and then all use them at once, instead of digging every time you have 3 turns available)

i found that a 410 land uspaz at max loyalty did wonders for me but almost any low land gas oceanic or spaz works good

3 land tho.

tried this

E.5332 Oceanic 2 17 50 9 11 341 White Crystal

when common/uncommon on 3 turns, and it gives me a good return on pink and yellow as opposed to 6 turns

i use whatever small land colony i get i havent seen a difference yet from that to a 2land spaz

Never really tested which will be better for digging and it doesn`t really matter much for me now since I can`t keep any planet above the gordoed one.
I normally dig using the planet with the least land on it, that is for all dig times and each using 9 turns.

I must say best dig planet posted so far is FistOfNoRemorse, looks as if he has a 6 land oceanic, that is pro!

I do know that there is a -land oceanic floating around here some ware in GC/RT as they gave away two of them years ago as event rewards, i was hoping one of the owners would of posted it here.

i just prefer it over a regular so i cant accidentally plunder it =)

I assume it would give off the same results in digging.

I tend to test this as soon as i find a exact 2 land spaz with same mineral type that is non X type.

use 2land spaz for digging rare and 10land ocean for all other dig time. Perfect for guard.. I believe for all other rare, 2land spaz work better. Though viral have better result with oceanic too.. Just my little experience.

Mazuka it all depends on the dig time for me on how many turns i use.

And sib i dont think X class would generate any more arties then a regular spaz, i just like it for the non plunder factor, how ever tho it is nice to know that you semi tested it to see what gave more results, i will have to watch out for that.

Oh and sorry for the double post but an interesting thing to add might be the amount of turns your usually use for different times or just over all. Personally Im rather fond of 6 or 7 turns.

I use:

E.9901 U.Spazial 2 34 5000 1 3 0 Red Crystal

They say 2 land is best but for one I was too lazy to get a 2 land one and hey lucky number 3 right? On a side not I had epic digging results with a 3 land gas as collective to get a paid to restart to viral and my 3 land spaz is working pretty well in my mind. So there might be something to the lucky number 3.

Oh and boudicca I dunno how many of those X.U spaz`s are floating around but I recently got rid of one so it might have been mine lol

heh I actually have both an X type and a normal 2 land U.spaz on my fast empire and I found (not by serious testing though) that the normal spaz were better for digging rares. Maybe that needs to be revised.
