So I thought of a fix, well somewhat, to the shortage of minerals. At least something that might cancel out the largest problems related to such.

The largest problem being that New players cannot find enough minerals to build ships. These players don`t need a ton of minerals, most of the wealthier empires wouldn`t even notice if the amount they need was taken from their supplies.

So two things we, as players, can do to help.

The first being don`t buy any small intervals \ posts of minerals on the market, leave those for the newer \ poorer empires. I mean really what is another 100k minerals when you have 10, 20, 100+ million already.

Secondly, we could all start randomly posting small amounts of minerals. IE 100k of each, ever day, or every other day, even once a week or so would help.

If all of the wealthier empires posted small amounts randomly and none of them bought any small amounts, there would almost always be at least some minerals for the younger empires to help them get started.

This would require the cooperation of nearly all mature

Pizza...sounds like you need to play at a high PR so the fleet expenses can off set the cash issues. BTW..I`m posting a "few` small lots and haven`t seen you raping the system. And yes, i`d PM if I was having issues with you.

As it stands, I haven`t seen ShadowKing buying up a lot of small lots at one shot. Thanx SK

there is a very good reason double inslaving is not possible or even ever to be considerd a possibility it can be sooooo easely abused and would be tooken down in weeks if not days because of its abuse

i spend 10+ hours a day online cus i got nothing else to do whit my time and i was at half a trill 3 days ago and now im at 800 bill

ps don`t wast artys cus ill just re make the creds just as fast or faster and i realy don`t care if i max out

Pizza...that would be about two days (if you aren`t spending 24 hours a day online) worth to make $100 bil. About the same as I. And i`m having little problem keeping it under control. I`ll admit ti was close a time or two...but for the most part I`m finding enough large lots to take ...

i make a bill and a half every 5 mins so i can clim those money ranks realy realy fast and i do wish there where a few more of them large post cus now they are getting rarer

The way I see it...knowing my cash reserves right now, if an empire isn`t in the Top 15 of the Richest Empire catagory, they have room and time to wait for large lots to transfer cash assets into mineral reserves. They`re in little danger of max`ing cash.

I`m with HB on this. Folks are free to grab the small lots ...and folks are free to use artys. Those who are`t participating in the Small Lot Plan, not a problem. I`m certain there are those posting smaller lots and not caring who buys them. Ya takes your risk if you buy a large number of small lots for stashing.

As with Founders, I agree, large lots are for the taking. I`m not a rpoducer and need to stash cash right now and build assets. So I`m buying large lots (and if a small lot goes past the 40th hour, and there`s lots behind it, i may swipe some...) but since HB initiated his plan and I bought in, I`m reposting 15% in small lots of what I buy. And i`m seeing purchases from player I had no idea were playing...and getting hit below 1 mil PR by players I`ve never heard of.

Remember when GC was such when you came out of DP and had...ohhh maybe 30 seconds tops before getting hit? It may well never reach that point again, but I hope it will be where I can come out of DP and find a battle or two before an hour passes (yes, I do think everyone at times has been out of DP waiting for over an hour for a battle)

It`s working, and Shadow King? Buy all the small lots you want Sparky...and if they are mine, well...you knew the chances when you started buying a number at a time ....

Buck, it seems to be working perfectly well so for, you have a very pessimistic attitude. As Veni pointed out 999 is not much less and I don`t think any mineral producers would be hurt buy posting minerals at that price.

And even if they do post at 1k and you have to buy up the 100k batches to get to the bigger batches you can repost the small batches on the market, just as most of us have been doing

If you continue to buy the small batches then you are going to mark yourself as being unfriendly to this game and a lot of people, including myself, are going to have a problem with you and your unwillingness to cooperate.

Do you really want to be that one guy that messes up a good thing, that screws up what we are doing to try and help the game?!?

Uhm... whenever i will need minerals, i will buy minerals. Since there is no second market to buy from, i can`t really leave those small posts to new empires, right? i have to buy those too if i want to dig out the large posts. So i will always buy small amounts, i will buy anything that`s available if i need it, right? it only seems natural since there`s only one single place to buy from...

I don`t think the "normal" and "starter" markets can live together as it is, at least not with these market rules. Large posts won`t be cheaper (PizzaTheHut pointed the reason out very well), so... what are we to do then? not buy? that`s not a reasonable option, of course...
