The Hulk

The US Financial Crisis would beat the Hulk: Bruce Banner now jobless and homeless, dies in an alleyway from starvation and exposure.

Frank Woods could beat the Hulk.

Now, I`m not a big comic fan, so I`ll be content to read for the most part, but I am a movie buff, and something said in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer rang a bell, where Sue Storm says that she could make a force field inside someone`s body. Wouldn`t she be able to do that in Hulk`s case? Just form the thing around Hulk`s heart, go invisible, and wait for the lack of circulation to do it`s thing. There`s no actual physical damage to regenerate.

Again, don`t know if this is true, just something that came to mind.

Pizza superman comes back via kryptonian tech, so that hardly counts as him "surviving" the battle :)

@Brotherhood I always wonder how people can like Batman. Sure, he is the only true human super hero, but he is the only one that isn`t actually "super" at all.. he`s just a rich athlete with fancy toys. :P

@Opus Superman was killed by Doomsday. Doomsday did not use fancy weapons or kryptonite, just a good ol` fashioned as whoopin`.

Superman v.s. Hulk = Long battle of raw power, Hulk eventually getting the edge on and defeating Superman because the Hulk is recovering from his cuts and scraps while growing stronger, where as Superman will be gradually worn down until he can no longer fight.

Ultimate power in the universe = stronger than The Hulk so I`ll give that one to Thanos w/ infinity gauntlet without an explanation.

Phoenix versus The Hulk = Phoenix is capable of destroying matter with her mind much faster than The Hulk can recover. Wolverine could barely take it and he recovers near instantly. The Hulk`s real resistance to death doesn`t come from regeneration, it comes from him being hard to hurt in the first place. Since the strongest steel is vaporizes by Phoenix just as quickly as, say, paper, The Hulk`s tank-like hide and decent regeneration speed wouldn`t be enough to protective him. Phoenix wins by vaporizing.

Exodus, super villian from X-Men, would be another contender. His abilities vary greatly, but he would only really need 2; ability to generate force fields to protect from physical attacks and the ability to control minds. He can also recover seemingly instantly (as he recovered having his organs ripped apart from the inside), but this is unnecessary unless the off chance that The Hulk even gets a hit in. Hypothetical battle between them would go like this; Banner goes Hulk, comes at Exodus. Exodus creates a wall between them while simultaneously tapping into The Hulk`s mind and making him go to sleep, turning him back into human form. Game, set, match. :

That was the best comic series I ever read, it was epic. It went into detail so much on how Thanos either tricked or defeated the guardians in order to obtain the infinity gems.

In another word someone called the gardner was the guardian of the life gem, Thanos considered him a friend and greatly admired all his acomplishments in using the gem to make an entire planet into a garden like paradise, Thanos wept after he killed the gardner, he didn`t like the fact it happened but for a comic their was a strong story between the two of them.

Drax was much like the hulk in appearance but as the guardian of the power gem he had unlimited physical power if he wished to go that far with it.

These comics are around 10 plus years old and I don`t have them anymore but they are definitely classic.

Adam warlock felt bad for what he did and felt for all the deaths he allowed when he could have helped so his last act as the bearer of the infinity guantlet was to return earths heroes and reset time as if none of this ever happened. The guantlet was turned over to The Living Tribunal for safe keeping.

Captain America in a display of heroism and honor and valor bravely fought against his opponent no matter the odds, in glory undiminished before the breaking of the world Captain America gave his life defending the right to exist and be free for all life throught the universe. As all the worlds heroes lay dead before him Thanos was visited by the god of forever Eternity himself, Eternity mustered all his might against Thanos bringing the full weight of his power over the cosmos upon him in a clash that shook galaxies. But to no avail as Thanos willed his victory over Eternity and brought him to his knees.

Thanos was eventually tricked out of the infinity guantlet by adam warlock who hid in the shadows and played on his feelings for all the deaths he caused. Adam now having the guantlet brought all the gods before him in submission and was ready to remake the galaxy in his image.

Suddenly Adam found himself in a celestial court before a being of imense size bearing three faces in the shape of a mans but half hooded. Adam surprised, threaten to deystroy him but found his power lacking against him. The Living Tribunal defeated Adam and convinced him that further fighting him would lay waste to all existance and he would still loose. He convinced Adam to give up the guantlet for the sake of the univeres which he did.

This is the infinity guantlet comic series crossover for marvel and d.c. it was like ten comics long. This is why Thanos with the infinity guantlet would win.

The following events actually took place.

The devine one,creator of all things in existance grew tired and weary of age and willed himself into non existance, but being to powerfull he ended up leaving behind five gems that divided his great power. These are known as the infinity gems. The were scattered and guarded in secret to protect all things so that the gems couldn`t be reunited. Thanos tricked the guardians and eventually took control of all the gems forming the right hand of the divine one called the infinity guantlet giving the wearer control of time and space and all matter.

All the worlds heroes from marvel and d.c. alike joined forces to face this mighty foe. From superman to the silver server, from ironman to thor himself all allied by means of magic and technology on a neutral plane to battle Thanos and save all things in creation. The heroes divided into teams to attack Thanos, one by one they were falling into death and darkness as Thanos willed his enemies destruction.

Spiderman, doctor doom, the fantastic four, all defeated. But while he was overcome by the shear valor of his enemies he was caught off guard by the hulk and drax the two most physically powerfull beings next to supermann and the guardian both landed at the same time a flurry of punches that rocked Thanos backwards. The hulk unleashed his anger like never before in a blow that would shatter worlds.

The other heroes moved in for the kill but Thanos willed his victory and would suffer no defeat. With unmatched speed drax was hit with a single blow that ended his life, then the hulk found himself in his grasp unable to break free and then all was quite, as the hulk hung in the air lifeless as his neck was broken. All the heroes at once attacked Thanos but to no avail. Thanos defeated them in different ways, burning, making them mortal, making it so they can`t breathand so forth.

Finaly only one remained standing toe to toe with Thanos.

Do guys thik electrucuting Hulk at high voltage kill him i mean it can stop a person`s heart why not stop Hulks heart?
