I have tested with all 3, and also tested many other "factors" that go into digging.

It should be noted that there is no proof whatsoever that loyalty on a planet affects the yield from your dig planet.

I`ve actually never seen any statistics on the 10land oceanic, vs 2land gas, vs 2land spaz. Could be interesting. My personly experience is that a 10land oceanic sucks for digging.

U.Spazial is another planet used for digging, similar to a gas planet in size & similar artifact yield when it comes to digging. However a U.class planet cant be clustered, so if your still building your empire up or want a digging planet that cant be clustered this is the ideal planet for you.

Gas & Ocean planets are both good for digging up artifacts as well, but they can be clustered.

For the more experienced artifact diggers out there, they like to loyal up their digging planets, this could increase your artifact digging yield during some dig times, while decreasing it for other times. So a planet that isnt clusterable & maintains a high loyalty could be a desirable VS looking for a new digging planet constantly.

Yes 10 land ocean is better, but spaz is the typical dig planet.

They are good for digging --

I believe that 10 land oceanics are possibly a tad bit better (for rare artifacts) ... but U-spaz`s are immune to colony clustering.

Yep 2 land u.spaz is best.. But you can use a 3 land spaz or 2 land gas with good succes. Some people like a 10 land oceanic too.
