Valentine Day flowers Question

Ok since i never really bought flowers for this occasion i thought i would ask your opinion on the fellowing.

And where is the best place to buy them probably online for delivery?

Its been ages since i had a date on Valentines, and not only did i have date, but i had a wonderful and i still wanna do something special because of how good of a time i had on the date, plus this is one of the few times of the year you send flowers to people.

Thanks for any input guys, only other person i would of asked is my aunt cause she sends flowers all the time but she is in a business meeting atm.

Here`s what you do.

Buy a dozen red roses, and write her a poem from your heart. Make sure the poem is at least twelve stanzas long. Now right each of the twelve stanzas on a seperate piece of paper and place one rose with each stanza.

Next find twelve hiding spots to place each set. Each set should contain a clue as to where you hid the next set. This is a fun game that can start and end with a little imagination however you want. When I used it the last piece of paper with the rose was hiddin in our bed with me in it but naked. My girl was as hot as an egg in the frying );D

Crack, a blue rose was created in 2004 employing genetic engineering.

Interestingly enough, that was the year I met my fiance`. And trust me, after casting your eyes on this woman, if you don`t have fantasies...you`re either very dead or very homo.

Blue roses signifies fantasy.. Unachievable..
Then again.. I dont think theres any real blue roses..

I gave my valentine a hundred pineapple pizzas. Just to make sure she wasn`t pandy in disguise.

Agree not to buy each other flowers and spend the day in bed ... .. sleeping .. instead .. yes .. that`s what I did .....slept ....

Besides we exchange flowers for birthdyas

There is a reason why most guys buy flowers for women, because women love flowers, because flowers are beautiful and feminine, I agree they are a bit played out, but flowers for a woman once in a while never hurt anything and usually makes a woman feel loved and appreciated.

dont buy flowers....everyone does that. make a flower painting or something else that has to do with flowers maybe but flowers die after a week and what does that mean to a girl? lol ``by the time the flower has dried out i forgot about u babe``

One day my granddad was caught sneaking a six pack to his grandsons and sharing a cold one together, (ahem) and when Grams caught us he was subjected to some serious female whippin` . I mean, here he was 83 years of age, around 60 years into the marriage, and Grams just whipped the man. She whipped him, kicked him, shot him twice, drug him behind bus then poured salt on the wounds... and that was the warm up to some serious chewin` ...

anyhows, after this spectacle, I ... err one of his grandson`s was google eyed staring with horror and amazement at what he just witnessed...and ol` Granddad, he just sort of sauntered back to the beer, popped another, sat back all cool and calm and said "seems your Grandma wants to get laid tonight ..."

Mind you, the guy was 83 ... he had it figured out, sorta.

Amen to that Flashy..ive been married for 13 years and not only can you get chewed on for breathing you WILL get chewed n for just breathing...and spit out and chewed again...lol

FL...we`ve been together for some time, she knows at times I may intend something but it`s a `guy thing` to screw it up ...so she clues me in from time to time. Besides...I`m good for a few months more based on XMas and the fact we may indeed decide to marry (2nd time for both of us after many years between :)

But I have learned what he** is like. Try a woman who is beginning to look in the mirror "seeing" and worrying about wrinkles which aren`t there, PMSing, ...and in the thrid day of uitting smoking. I never knew until a few days ago I could get into big time trouble and royally chewed on for breathing....I assure you, I can.

ATM she is biting my head off, tomorrow im guessing she`ll be happy with the flowers.

@ HoneyBucket{HH} - Yes she is worthy of the flowers, not every girl is, but we did go out for V-day, this was our first date & it was wonderful, no better way i know how to say thank you. & thanks HB, i also like the flowers i got, there wasnt many options i liked but those ones worked for me without being to mono-colored or personal, i was aiming for sweet & beautiful.

@ Colebourn - Girls love chocolates, its not always classy, but they will be eaten by someone anyways, & im not going to be sending flowers by themselves, and i dont like balloons & a teddy bear is to much since we just started seeing each other.

@ FlashysDomain - Man i think your girl is trying to tell you something... well good luck picking out the right flowers mate, sounds like she is going to judge ya on what you get maybe. Money says she only wants you to put lots of thought into it, who knows if she actually really cares about the flowers even if she acts like she does. Seems like she wants you to get something more symbolic for her. I think a cute Teddy Bear might help or surprise her with something she likes or collects. My girl likes cats, hates dogs.

@ PistolPete - Glad you 2 are still together. And she forgave for not remembering the day lol. At least you know when your anniversary is now lol

Heh.. When i had my GF on a date for the first time 7 years ago, it was on valentines day. But I had no clue that i had invited her on this day - and she never told me until many years later. lol.

I took my gf to a book store and bought her almost 300$ of books. No flowers needed and now i get my weekends free :D

lol I wouldn`t do chocolates, that`s just like saying "I didn`t know what to get you, so I took the easy way out" or they will get the wrong impression and think that they are fat :P

Couresty of my fiance` who took great pains to explain this to me before Valentine`s Day.

I`d also go with Moonstruck Chocloates.

Alright guys this is what im getting.

Originally i wanted red roses with 1 maybe 3 white roses, around 18 roses total, but instead im going to get the above since i cant order something special online the way i want it. Im also getting a small box of chocolates delivered with the flowers to her house. If i know i was going to be sending flowers or even going on a date i would of done more research into the matter & probably going to the store personally to hand pick what i want, but since she lives a good hour away im shopping online & sending thank you flowers pretty much for an awesome date.
