Farewell to Farewell Threads

Sounds like a welcome back thread would be better than a farewell one....

i think it`s a good thing to know who`s in and out of the game. even if they aren`t really `quitting,` at the very least you know they are prob vming for a couple weeks lol. plus it strikes up a good conversation talk and you can tease ppl for not quitting after they said they would several times :)

ya the player that got me interested in this game again thirtheen was the firsth person i talked or pmed on this game he never even bothered to say bie and that sucked

Ender, there are worse things then neglect, for example always making random changes with no concern for how they will effect the game or player base. Personally I`d rather play a neglected game then a constantly abused and molested game.

I`m with FreeLancer on this one, I like knowing when players are leaving. Plus for some players it helps them to take a long break, as once they have said farewell it is a more formal decision and they are more likely to stick with it. When one says things aloud it helps one to accept it as real.

How could/would a new owner destroy it after buying it? neglect it? lol XD

People only come back because they are bored or they know other people. The only reason it`s impossible to quit is because of the people around here.

Hmmm, saga its quite possible to quit this game. If Stephen sells this game out and the new owner destroys it . Actually, anfit would end up making another SFGC, so it is impossible to quit.

I rather see a Farewell Thread, and knowing a player is gone instead of finding out he disappeared, and wondering where did that one guy go.

Admit you do see so many real Farewell Threads cause players do tend to come back, but the ones who are seriously going away and quiting for a long awhile actually deserve to say G.Bye to everyone. The guy who come back every 6 months are annoying, but i guess they keep it interesting now & then.
