Farewell Thread

It`s difficult to think of how much has changed since I joined GC five years ago. For me it all started simply as a way to pass the time, but as I met new people and and made friends it became something more. It`s been such a great pleasure interacting with everyone here and the experiences I`ve had will never be forgotten.

This isn`t something that is easy for me to do, but I`ve decided to resign from GC. Personally, there has been, and will be a lot of changes in my life to come and I know I need to focus on the road ahead. I may check back in from time to time, but I don`t see myself playing again anytime soon, if at all.

I would like to extend a special thanks to those I`ve fought with. I can`t tell you how much your friendship and trust has meant for me and without it I wouldn`t have been here to begin with. Thank-you also to those I`ve fought against, it really has been a lot of fun.

On a final note, I sincerely hope that I leave on good terms with everyone and I apologize for anything I have done or said that may have offended you.

Thank-you again and I wish you all a very fond farewell.

A shame to see another good player leave.

im surprise about you leaving, i always thought you will never quit. you put a lot of efforts with your guardian empire, sad to see it go. im not gonna convince you to stay like i did to others before. its pretty much the game is dying if not dead lol.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience. May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on another`s judgment of your accomplishments. May you always feel loved. Good luck with your RL comrade.

It took many brave Empires to put down the last UW. Arnwulf was a big part of it. And Knossos was a big part of Arnwulf. It is sad to see you go.

We will miss you. You leave big shoes to fill.

I`ve never known you to be anything but an honest and good player to work with. You have been a faithful member of UTU right up to the end, and I thank you for helping me realize my one goal of completing a UW on this game. Without you, Founders and couple others defending me, I might not have made it. It is only with deep regret that I could not repay this debt to you in defense of a UW of your own.
