END enslavement

Seriously we heard more than enough complaints about enslavement over the years especially the 10x power thingy & the VMing empires.

I say we do away with it, yes its part of the game, but only A.miner/Terran are able to use it mainly, and it only works on Commercial/Tax A.miner/Terran. Which is unfair if you enslave a mineral A.miner or a food producer or goods producer and you dont get any profits from them.

Im sure other people can think of other reasons to END enslavement as part of the game, and i`ll be glad when its gone.

I`m all for enslavement. Nothing like being a Master with a tall, buxom, scantily clad slave at your beck and call especially when she suggests ropes and ....ummm...maybe I`d best stop here and suffice to say I stated my views on supporting enslavement ... .

End enslavement ??? ??? , being a slave or having slaves has many benefits all of which i`m to lazy to list.

yeah, Valja has a good method to deal with enslavers, it`s called the "pummel them with arties until they cry and release you" method of gaining freedom from enslavement :P

Slavery should be out of the "Guardian zone" So it doesn`t unbalance guardians. But other than that, for everyone else it would be a plus ...

Valja you can always change your battle stratagy and enjoy in a different way. Not just explore for borders and log out. Or dig.... You can fight :)

boudicca... for the last few months, i just login and explore for borders... apart than that, i don`t even bothered anymore for special digging times compared for the first 4 years...

IF you think i`m running down on SFGC, perhaps my patience is running out nowadays... for years i`ve supported and stay loyal to this game but to see it`s going nowhere, it`s sadden me...

why i`m still around? i think i still believe in SFGC... i`m just waiting for the day to come....

Ok I`ve seen these posts for years now and the bottom line is, if its coded staff wont run the risk of having a feature removed in an atempt to rebalance the problem. We should instead be focusing on player/staff interactive solutions to encourage game growth and player development which from what I`ve seen is somewhat underway as we speak. If this was really such a horrible game to play we wouldn`t still be playing and coming back to play. This is a free to play game with a basic os browser set up with great players and great staff at the helm.

Ask yourselves the following
Have I tried to reply on the forum to a new player?
Have I welcomed any new players recently?
What can I do to improve game conditions?

It starts with each of us first.

Don`t get me wrong I`d be all for re-balancing of enslavement.. But I`m not for and won`t be for removal of more features

Let me give you all a little rundown of past history

Federation Election - Had an exploit which needed to be fixed - stephens solution:

Maraudian

I am sure there are more things i`m missing off the top of my head so i`ll just get to the point of my post

tpe: Guardian rewarding was disabled because if they can easily just reward up to 5k loyalty (+1300 for missions) on anything they explore/capture, guards would pretty much dominate the server.

And thinking of it, giving us tax miner slaves would be bad too, even 1bil at a time, we`ll claim that asap every time, and make us even richer for our dirt cheep ships.

My final vote goes to leave it as is.

fyi boudicca... a player-friendly game is where a game that will attract more players in regards it`s a teletubies on ps1 or any wargame that is available out there...

a player-friendly game is where the developer will listen to players` inputs and do something to IMPROVE and not to let the game STAGNANTS for years...

a player-friendly game is where the money will come in to the developer...

a player-friendly game is where the players don`t mind spending money to the developer...

a player-friendly game is where the players are actually come to play and stay longer as long they wish to...

a player-friendly game is.... heck... i can continue this the whole day... but what`s the point... i`ve been in SFGC for more than 5 years and the fact is, SFGC is having more or less with 100 active players daily ... IF that is to be proud of, i guess we`re having a very low set of goals in life... :P

Guard ships for re-inforcements of an A.miner income, i think i could live with that.

Ya guard missions for loyalty would offset the normal 5000 max. So guards having reward colony ability would be an issue.

yeah.. if i -as guard- could enslave a few tax miners ...
dang.. i even wouldn`t bother researching housing for my own income.
it`d be peanuts with what i could get from slaves ^^

i say enslavement is pretty good, as long as the person you are enslaved by is decent. for example, when i enslaved someone, i gave them a pm saying what being enslaved by me entails (if they are a new player), and asked them if they wanted me to free them. if they did want freedom, i freed them. of course, and cant do this anymore, as a collective

also, have you ever thought that there are reasons that certain races are not part of enslavement is because of how much money they can make. either it takes a huge chunk of money from them if they are enslaved, or if they enslave another player, they get too much money for the race to be balanced with it
