My GF has a ferret...a lot of them. It`s a nice coat.
i was a ferret`s fur once. my owner`s master used to take this ferret out for walks too. then the master would pet me thinking that he actually pets the ferret. sucker...

I still have a Ferret. And he is bad at recognizing hang-overs.
The smell thing isn`t really that big of a deal when they are given monthly or bi-monthly baths. But yes, they do have that one peculiarity. You get used to it over time.

ya ferrets do like to walk and explore, just need a leash lol.
Also a friend of my had ferrets and their is a special food you can feed them and that food will make them smell less. My stepmom had ferrets when i was little and OMG all i remember about them is they smelled so they were a NO NO pet for me for the longest time.
