Guardian NPC UW Design Contest

and yeah, fuzzy is right. these spam/heavy dummy stacks are way more effective for a UW.

2 massive stacks of topaz and xe are the best combo on top, with increasingly smaller dummies that are big enough to make it really hard to stack up high enough to kill them. Then 4 stacks at 25 mill pr in the 11th-14th, and 1 turn of all the rest of the ships.

Test it out to your heart`s content. Balanced stacks are pretty and useful for combat, but are less likely to succeed in a UW than a fleet like this.

id have to go with gemini since the huge number of either ship should wipe out the persons stack in one hit assuming thered be defenders keeping attackers down in lower prs. That makes the weapon less important. Id say 5 range is negligible in the argument though becuase i cant see anything you would use against it that has 5 or less range.

The defencive properties of aries vrs gemini are slightly in favor of gemini, after having used both I find aries more versitile with better return damage. The difference in range is a good factor for defence in favor of gemini but it seems its up to personel preference. The point in using the ship is to lose less pr in that stack when it gets hit and I find aries to be better when my stack calls for it

Hmmm i went slightly over 2.1 bil but you get my point...i`m not too fussed about winning but a Guard UW would be amazing and I`d love to fight it!

For all the people posting the C.aries, please keep in mind that out of the Gem/Aries that the Gem is a way better defensive ship, and the aries is more offense, just my 2 cents, i really liked how TBK used them both, but then he murdered it with the destroyer lol.

Dm, no specific Do`s or Don`t have been given.
Either way, MAX pr for a Guard would be a 1way trip.

We could never get enough money to rebuild at that PR for more than a few hours before we go broke.

Jesus, so many surrealistic stacks down there...

Are we actually talking about a fleet some guard could possibly build or a fleet with load of aries as suggested?

Exactly why when I calculated my ten stack I left room in the pr for dummies, I dont see the point of listing them so I left them out.

You can`t build more than 2.1bil, so if you hit that before dummies, then you`re screwed lol, unless, of course, you`re building during the uw.

I was kind of assuming dummies are a given for the competition

I assume it`s cool to have dummie stacks under your top ten.
